Cuando The Goat<\/strong> (abreviatura de greatest of all of time: el mejor de todos los tiempos) tiene inter\u00e9s en formar parte de tu familia y skimmar algunas de las olas m\u00e1s cl\u00e1sicas del mundo \u00a0con una tabla Dogflut, ese inter\u00e9s lleva intr\u00ednseco algo muy importante dentro. La confianza de los mejores es una muestra clara de la solidez de un proyecto y la de calidad de nuestras tablas. Cuando ves sus videos skimmando tanto de regular como de goofie no das cr\u00e9dito\u2026 Y maniobras memorables como su Beaker wrap o su secci\u00f3n en un video tan m\u00edtico como Liquid Courage, ser\u00e1n para siempre parte de la historia del skimboarding y es que hubo un antes y un despu\u00e9s de la llegada de Bill Bryan <\/strong>a las orilleras. Campe\u00f3n de incontables eventos de skim, de piscina de olas, buen surfista (en surf es goofie) y gran snowboarder y editor de decenas de videos de skim de 10th street bros junto a su hermano George, ha skimmado desde las orilleras m\u00e1s potentes y conocidas hasta algunas de las olas m\u00e1s m\u00edticas del mundo del surfing con una tabla sin quillas.<\/p>\n

Resumiendo\u2026 Beaker es al skim lo que Jordan al b\u00e1squet, Slater al surf o Hawk al skate… Un \u00eddolo para varias generaciones. A d\u00eda de hoy, con 48 a\u00f1os sigue dando mucha ca\u00f1a y demostrando que el talento no tiene caducidad y aunque ahora est\u00e1 un poco m\u00e1s enfocado en el free skim y disfrutar a diario de las mejores olas, tubos y a\u00e9reos, a Bill le sigue gustando competir. Y es que mantiene una estricta din\u00e1mica de estiramiento diarios y dieta vegetariana para saciar su sed de entubarse d\u00eda tras d\u00eda. Tanto es as\u00ed que acab\u00f3 quinto en la \u00faltima edici\u00f3n de The Vic en Aliso beach celebrada el pasado Agosto; una m\u00e1s que meritoria posici\u00f3n que habr\u00eda sido a\u00fan mejor de no quedarse a 0\u201904 puntos de Webber (el que a la postre fuera campe\u00f3n) en los cuartos de final o de no cruzarse con Blair Conklin en los enfrentamientos 1vs1. Sea como fuere, es un hito que muy probablemente, nadie ser\u00e1 capaz de repetir y los m\u00e1s sorprendente de todo es que no sorprende a nadie<\/strong>. Cuarenta y ocho tacos y sigue en la cresta de la ola. Larga vida a la leyenda.
