Each and every one of our boards follows the exact same manufacturing process, handcrafted from scratch with meticulous attention to detail, focused on performance and resistance.<\/strong><\/p>\nSince Dogflut inception, our principle goal has remained the same: we offer the best quality without pretension, without additives, without masks, preserving the natural marks and beautiful imperfections of a handcrafted process. We’re not afraid to show them. The perfect board doesn’t exist, but the ideal board for each skimmer does. That’s why we continue to evolve and research year after year, in order to offer the widest range of options.<\/p>\n
One of these lines of research is the creation of new shapes, because having different options helps meet the needs of every skimmer.<\/p>\n
Creating a shape is a complex process that requires study, trial and error, and a good number of tests to reach a consensus among several high-level riders with different techniques and styles, leading to firm conclusions.<\/p>\n
Today, we’re finally releasing a shape we’ve been working on for a long time<\/strong>, and which several of our team riders have been riding for almost two years. Our main goal was to create a fishtail shape that was the most versatile<\/strong>: excellent in side waves, both liners and sidewalls, but without sacrificing agility or responsiveness in aggressive maneuvers like turns on front-end waves and the most technical tricks before, on, or after the wave.<\/p>\nJelly is exactly that. It’s the latest variation of our Classic shape, which is the one almost all our riders prefer. With a very similar outline, it opens up towards the tail to create a narrow fishtail that barely reduces speed in tight turns and offers control on the back foot, almost like a small fin when surfing the face of the wave.<\/p>\n
