The order of the factors does not alter the value of product, but in this case, it is important to us starting with what is usually said at the end. Congratulate the new Spanish skimboarding champions will come later, but it is really important for us to value and thank the work of all people involved to make real the Skimboarding championship of Spain. Starting with the entire team of organizers, following the participants and ending with all the collaborators, friends and sponsors that make possible events like this one. It really important for all of us.

That said, we also want to thank all who ride our boards; taking them to the podium in all categories with riders of our competition team. It was awesome to see the amount of skimboarders with Dogflut boards this weekend, specially all the young kids who are the future of eropean skimboarding.

And of course… To thank and congratulate all the riders of our DOGFLUT TEAM. Amazing once again. ‘Xoxe’ Conde securing his throne in girls division, Ale ‘Burbuja’ Montañés showing that he has a lot of future and also a lot present, champion of Spain under-16 and semifinalist in Open division and he is only 13… And of course, Juanlu González getting the title that a long time ago deserved in Open division. In add to Adrián Clavijo with a nice 3rd position, really close to be the runner up. Nice prize after be father just a few months before.

The Trafalgar Lighthouse dawned flat on Thursday, but levante wind always brings joys for liners lovers and on Friday the wave was great to celebrate a great championship. Long liners to trick it, giving the possibility to enjoy it to skimmers of all levels and to the best riders can destroy it with their skills.

Among all, Juanlu González, local rider, was the winner, destroying all heats in his favorite spot and taking home the trophy he needed and deserved in his medal winners.

On the other hand, Jesule GonzálezAle Montañes fell with honors in the first semifinal, against Juanlu and Javi Sola, who was intractable in that heat. In the second semifinal, Martí Avilès was eliminated by surprise in the second semifinal when he received an interference penalty that made him fall from first to third place. A pity because he would have made epic war in the final, as he has always done.

They also deserve special mention Martí Avilès, fifth classified, that if not for an interference during his semifinal, he would have fought for the national crown and Jesule ‘González, who after shining in the quarters, fell in the semifinals, finishing with a respectable seventh place.

Be that as it may, Dogflut riders were champions in all categories! Including sub12, where Juanlu students at their Avance school showed that the level of the little kids is better every year.
